Priscilla's Revenge

Fans of three-time national nominees Priscilla's Revenge will be pleased to hear that the Yellowknife-based blues-rock band has announced a January, 2010, release of their latest album, Third Gear. With this, their third release, the band has explored new writing avenues through the musicians who have been their key inspirations. These influences include Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Allman Brothers Band. The roots are deep, but the sound and voice remains Priscilla's.

Priscilla's drummer and lead singer, Norm Glowach, offers the following description of Third Gear: "(it is) a collection of vignettes, or stories you might see and hear in any bar on any night - a view from the stage, conversations overheard at the next table, thoughts of a waiter, the touch of lovers - they all have their place in Third Gear".
